So when the huge Slink update came out, I wrote of my alpha lash issue with the updated Visage. After many many conversations and lots of trouble shooting, Slink Resident finally fixed the problem for me! I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am that I can finally enjoy all the new features of Visage, such as the makeup layers. Continue reading
I thought it was time to do a post on the new mesh body by Maitreya. I wanted to wait until my favorite skin stores were doing appliers, and also I was having rezzing issues with the first two versions. The neck blending issue I was having (as I wear Visage) also seems to have been fixed.
The butt is complete perfection, so much so that Sasy changed my group title to “Look @ My Butt”! I spend all my time inbetween posts prancing round our studio in lingerie yelling look at my butt hahaha.
I did have to change my shape for this version as it seems to be a bit curvier than my other mesh bodies. Just a few tweeks to body thickness and leg length and I was happy.
The HUD is very simple and easy to use and a great new feature is the ability to choose which layer your clothes go on, be it tattoo, underwear or clothing. This will make creators lives much easier, so there’s no excuses now :P My one request to creators is that they would consider putting all their applier huds in one pack. For example, the Zaara lingerie that comes with Lara is gorgeous, but does not contain a Slink Feet version. The stockings are obviously out of the question unless you’re wearing the Lara feet, which is a shame as they add that extra touch.
My gorgeous shoes are from Emporium for Oh My Gacha. So much cuteness at that event!

It’s nearly here…can you feel it! Just in time for the holidays, HUDSON’s Clothing Company has released some Christams sweaters. I’m showing the plain version here, but the pack comes with an animated version, perfect for burning the retinas of the family with ;)
The pants I’m wearing are from Lalicious. They’re very generous in the hip area, so perfect if your av is curvy. I’m wearing them with my Physique body, and only turned my legs off via the hud.
The Joy sign is from Fetch for the Merry Crisis Gacha Event. Tons of machines to play with some really sweet prizes.

In this house, we’re totally geared up for Christmas. The cupboard is stocked with mince pies and Stollen (for hubby), the presents have been bought and suitably hidden and we’re completely ready to head over to my parents house on the big day so I can supervise the cooking ;) Every year, my brother and mom have the roast potato fight, which involves much ado about oven temperature, size of potatoes and which kind of fat they should be cooked in. Dad and I stay as far away from the kitchen as possible and as close to the booze as we can get. Booze and chocolates. Booze, chocolates, chips & dip. As you do!
This year I’m most excited about the gift we got for the mini diva. Everyone chipped in and I can’t wait for her to open it! What’s your favorite Christmas bit?
Speaking of gifts, get yourselves to SYSY’s to grab this lovely sweater dress which is her gift to you all. You’re welcome. The cute jeans are from Tameless and come with appliers. Win!

I’d never done The Arcade before. It was something that gained momentum during my SL hiatus. We’d always been gacha fans though, although not quite on such a huge scale. I’ll be honest, I found the amount of people there overwhelming and the sheer number of machines to play insane lol. That being said, I did have fun and got some incredible rares I’d been lusting after.
The set shown below is one such rare. I got it first try, let the hate begin ;)
